My perspective on business…
My perspective on business was shaped by years of working inside organizations, leading people, starting businesses, navigating growth, and experiencing firsthand the weight that comes with being responsible for what happens next.
I've been the owner trying to make the right decision when resources were limited, problems kept appearing, and I wasn't always confident I was addressing the right thing. Looking back, what I often needed wasn't another person arriving with an answer. I needed a clearer understanding of what was actually happening and firmer ground from which to decide what to do next.
Understanding Before Answers
That experience became foundational to Operational Growth Advisors. OGA begins with understanding, not a predetermined solution. I don't believe my role is to walk into someone else's business assuming I already know what it needs. My role is to help the leader see more clearly, understand more fully, and make better-informed decisions about the organization they know better than anyone.

That distinction matters deeply to me. Behind the problems, processes, systems, and numbers is a person carrying the responsibility for the business and the people who depend on it. OGA should never take that responsibility away from them or create dependence on us. I want our work to strengthen their understanding and give them greater confidence in the decisions that remain theirs to make.
Leaders are WHO I SERVE.
Why It Matters
I've come to believe that understanding changes the emotional experience of leadership. It doesn't eliminate uncertainty, financial pressure, or difficult decisions. But greater understanding can replace some confusion with clarity and give a leader firmer ground from which to decide, act, and lead.
Maybe that is what I needed during some of the hardest periods of building my own businesses. And it is what I hope OGA can be for other leaders: a source of greater understanding and clarity, giving them firmer ground from which to lead.
That is why I built Operational Growth Advisors, why I keep pushing, and why I still believe in what it can become.
